Where Are You Continues, Again.....

So... was hoping to go to a swimming pool today.... but woke up and it's cloudy... I don't want to get into a pool if it's not hot and sunny... Besides, I get some concerns about diseases one may catch in a public swimming pool...
Anyway, will leave this hotel room and get busy... may even stop at the swimming pool park and check it out... Shall see... You all have an enjoyable, productive and safe day...

Had a day off, decided to go check out the "Giants of Mining" near Syncrude.

 

...that first picture. I had no idea gmc made trucks that big!

And that's one hell of a tire in the third pic.

 

Well it does have a leveling kit in the front and air bags in the back. Sits about 2" taller than stock.

That's actually a bucket wheel in the third picture. The machine drives on tracks and that wheel turns and scoops up dirt from a bank and drops it onto a conveyor belt. That pic only shows about the front 1/3 or so of the machine.

 

Sort of like a water wheel for dirt? Seems logical.

Talking about ants... found a line of ants inside the truck... they were climbing up on the tires on both sides of drive axle and seeking for the chocolate bars that I left on the upper shelf inside the cabinet...
Had to spray some bug killer on their path and did some more cleaning inside truck... Also moved truck a little... there was no other spot to park it... Well... will be leaving tomorrow, so hopefully there will be no more ants inside it tomorrow.. Shall see...
Bought me a Cooleman cooler... this will be the 4th Cooleman I get... Koolatron was better but couldn't find it and I'm tired of buying bags of ice every day... I'm collecting old coolers that don't work any more and I use them as storage...
Stopped at my storage unit and dropped some things and got other things...


Constantly moving stuff back and forth, back and forth... this is the story of my life...
As you guys can see, I have a good small refrigerator but no room in the truck for it...
Well... will check out hotel tomorrow morning, take the rest of my stuff with me and will take my 10 tomorrow at shipper's trailer yard...
Picking up load on Monday morning in IL and then heading to IN...

 

At my 1st pick up waiting for the dealer to open so I can grab 1 Hyundai then off to the auction to fill out the rest of the wagon..
