Stockton/Tracy then NORTH....a bit boring to Corning, but then the mountains and passes...curves....keeps it moving and requires you pay attention.
South to SoCal can't stand it!

Another week is starting... Got some more ants in the truck but I hope they are (almost) all dead now... after I removed everything from the cabinets and sprayed some Lysol... seen one today but hopefully there's no nest somewhere...
Lost my very valuable notes that I had been keeping for years... with all forum members numbers and many important tips and other information...Got so pssed about it... Lost sleep over it... spent hrs and hrs scouring every little corner inside this truck... over and over again... for two days... Till I realized my notes felt inside the garbage bag and I threw that away before realizing the notes were in there...
Have been driving most nights... Drove almost all my 11 yesterday and arrived at this truck stop in WA with 3 mins left from my 11...
Taking my 34 now and will start driving at 5 AM central time... Will deliver north of Seattle tomorrow morning.. So gotta go to bed soon.. it's getting late...
You all have a safe and productive week...Vilhiem and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -

Sigh. I was forthright and honest with the dispatcher. And now I can't run until I have insurance. And I can't get insurance on the pittance they are paying me.
Therefor I am at home.
I got a fairly lousy check. Got $40 in diesel. And came here. The check money I have left over ain't even enough to pay the past due electric bill.
I'm caught between a VERY Hard place and GRANITE!Vilhiem Thanks this. -
I was wrong about one thing. There IS enough money to pay the electricity bill and get a few groceries.
I sent "Sigh. I guess I'm on vacation this week because there ain't no way in **** we can buy insurance. I can only hope next Monday's check is useful."
He answered 10-4. Ain't that nice?Vilhiem Thanks this. -
Ringgold, GA and back on familiar ground..
stting here waiting on my brisket, fried okra, and baked beans to arrive..........yummyVilhiem, Al. Roper, chopper103in and 2 others Thank this. -
Depending upon which run I take I have to stop in that area since I'll run out my clock. Long as they don't mind my parking to take a 10 and it's good food I might have to try them out.
(I've no idea where you're getting brisket in ringold though.) -
