    I agree with that. I might have knocked back a hard beverage or two already... Gotta go back to the big truck tonight though to pick up some stuff I left while I got my radiator fixed.

    @Dave 1960

    With the rates auto shops are charging in my area, you should come open up your own.

    I always do research before I do repairs, but I got quoted 450-550$ for a radiator replacement in my s10.

    I had to ask the shop charging 550$ for the job why it was so expensive. He said, "That's just what it costs."

    I had to call him out then.. Broke down what the shop I normally called told me. (300$.)

    Boy did he get irate... "I don't know where they get their numbers from! But the part is 220$, plus supplies and labour! You don't like it? Don't call again!" *click*

    Yeah.. Folks actually pay that cost here. My radiator is 170$ at worst.

    I was right. Came home a little prior to 7pm after stopping for a gallon of 40w Rotella. Going to let out about 5 gallons of diesel containing oil.
    Use the new 40w and 2 gallons of what's in there to have a few days of good oil pressure.
    We had hot dogs with plenty of onion.
    As IF I need another day off after last week we have Monday off.

    Guess I have enough to do around the house and on the truck to keep me busy....

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

    Got two of my chores mostly done.
    Need a run to Lowes for 3/4to1/2 bushing.
    Need the battery to get up good on the "new" phone and change over the phone line.
    It ain't that hot outside 88 or 89 degrees.
    But the humidity is up over 90%!
