As we age.....we need to take notes, or draw some lines a bit more often than once a week. Remember (?)...memory is the second thing.........

Now inside truck at a Sinclair truck stop in CO. Truck stop is closed at night... Not many trucks... Train pass by right in front of me here almost every hr and makes A LOT of noise...

Have been running at night... going from east to west and to east and to west again... :biggrin_25526::p

Now taking my 34 and will deliver in Denver on Tuesday... and then rush to another shipper very nearby and then head back to OK... where I was last week or so...
Hey!!! BTW, I took my DOT physical last week and the physical aptitude test that my company includes with DOT and passed both... :)

My Peoplenet stopped working... it was 6 months old or so... They replaced that with an older one... And this one now is almost as slow as the first one I had in this company... :biggrin_25510: Not very happy about that.... But will have mechanic replace it again with something faster next time I take truck to shop for PM....

Cooked some meal here and will now have my last warm meal of the day... :biggrin_25519:

Thank you Mr. Dave... I have been following your saga... I must say... you are a tough cookie... to be still hanging in there, in your company and still making ends meet... Sometimes I think, ok, that's it... He will leave now... maybe become a truck driver again... or something else... But nope... you are still there...

Big Don and Vilhiem Thank this.

You know, there's a few awesome things about losing your memory!

You get to meet new people every day! You can hide your own easter eggs! If you buy your own Christmas presents then it's still a surprise! :p

That's one thing I admire about some folks... The ability to do with what they've got. It's becoming a lost art nowadays and it's evidenced in how people live.

On the flipside, folks that know how to do with what they've got are often optimists... Don't know about Dave, but there's some days I admit to trudging through just because I know that the next day will be better.

Hey... maybe someone knows the answer to my question here... I am trying to find in the book of Regulations where it says that one can't perform on duty tasks after the 14th hr... Because my safety boss told me I had a violation (according to her understanding) when I showed on my paper log 5 mins for PTI ( post trip inspection) right after my 14th hr... And I don't agree... I learned in my former company that it's a violation to drive after the 14th hr but it's ok to perform on duty job after the 14th... I want to challenge safety boss but can't find anything that says it is or it's not a violation to be on duty after the 14th hr...
