Rocks. That truck doesn't have heated mirrors?

Oh brother! Yesterday we drained several containers and a big bath tub of rain water using 5 gallon buckets. Today I feel like I got run over by a truck and beat with several baseball bats.
Number 1 after getting a somewhat better check than I thought I would was to go up 249 to Compaq Center Blvd. For 3 cartons 42# going to a place that doesn't even look like a place of business.
Number 2 was to be Ceva going to Freeport. But he sent pick up Ceva going to Pearland.
    Delivered number 2 in Pearland.
Then 3 went to Freeport to BASF. Thought it would be trouble because no PO# for BASF. But the guy went to talk to someone and came back and signed.
Left Freeport at 4pm. Got home 6:15.
Hope I wake up feeling better!

    Rocks and chopper103in Thank this.

Hope you rest well tonight and feel much better tomorrow Mr. Dave...
That truck... Yes... it has heated mirrors... not sure they are working properly though... I was moved into this truck a little over one month ago.... Will be back at company shop sometime this week and those mirrors are in my list of things to be checked... I hope they are not working properly and they will fix them.

BTW, delivered my load today here in VA.... Receiver's lot was a mess when I arrived... there were trucks trying to back, others trying to leave, others trying to drop and hook, garbage truck trying to get to dumpster, yard dog trying to move trailers around.... :biggrin_2552: All in a small area... :biggrin_25521:
So... I decided to get out of my truck, walked to the truck in front of me and asked driver to stay right there while I moved so truck behind me could leave... and then I backed truck so he could back to his dock and I went to a few other trucks and told drivers when to move, and in a certain order so everybody could go where they needed and I could back to my dock when it was my turn... Very soon there was no more mess in the yard... :biggrin_25519: There I was... being unloaded... and a line of trucks in front of me waiting for their assigned docks...

After empty, came to closest truck stop... less than 4 miles away...

Was on stand-by all afternoon... waiting for another load that never happened... :biggrin_25513:
Next load will be going towards OKC... so truck can have its preventative service that's waaaay overdue...

Had my hot meal this evening in the truck...

Will be going to bed soon... :biggrin_25518:

Went from Chambersburg Pa to Monroe Mi. Started snowing in Ohio. Turnpike was just wet lots of salt trucks working. Now 280 and 75 were snow covered and slick. Light snow now deliver in Canton in the morning.

Not saying I wish I was there now!
