well i know nothing about the I shift
the bad reports come from earlier auto transmissions
the Eaton I had in my 2011 700 KW shifted fine
held gears going down Mount Eagle

the new Cascadia's have a 12 speed Mercedes tranny
out 3 drivers all like them and get better mileage then i do with same engine and a 13 speed

I have seen older models that didnt back up well but that seems to be rectified
