Pretty good Rocks. She has diabetes among other things.So we are all starting to eat somewhat healthier.

I simply have to get out of this job.
Yesterday I went to a place I go a lot to get two drums. They didn't have the product. Apparently because I missed 3 calls in about 7 minutes I missed out on a good one going to Beaumont.
I went to the second pick to get a 120# tube.
20x5x6. Only the 20 was feet! I couldn't safely transport it without damage. 2 for 2.
Went up to Humble for a 32# box going less than 5 miles to SDV. Then picked up at Ceva going to a Starbucks near 8 and Memorial Dr.

Was empty 2:30. Nothing else after that.
Working at Lowes or Walmart I might not make a lot but it will be regular.

I wouldn't mind driving a van, pickup or box truck. But I no longer wish to drive a big truck.
Gotta stay relatively close to home anyhow.

My truck now leaves a large blue cloud when cool And blue haze most of the time. Lovely.

Rawlns WY for the night. Weathers good gonna get thru WY before high winds come in. High wind warnings starting at 1300 Saturday.

 

I go better than 3 years with no weekend run.
But yesterday nobody told the customer I was coming (late but dispatch knew that) so I was told to do it this morning,

I promise one thing. If SDV screwed up again and if Sameer ain't there somebody is gonna get an asswhooping!

 

My Saturday thing went of mostly without a hitch.
Have a 7:30AM driver meeting that I ain't gonna make. We gotta have a dog in Coldspring at 8AM and I got the only running vehicle in the family.

I have an alternator to drop off for the Misubishi.
And a dead battery to try and get a good used one for. And the Mitsu could be up and running next weekend.

 

Hey... I was parked in Laramie, WY Saturday evening... left at 4:30 am central on Monday and headed west.... Yeah... pretty strong winds but I was heavy... it got better once I passed Rawlins...

 

Arlington TX unload went off without a hitch. On my way to Abilene to load then heading to Lenexa KS. Broker said it was a hot load. I guess people really need their soft drinks.

 

We voted. We went and got the dog. I called and got insurance instated, I went to the office to get delivery tickets and discuss physical. I was handed a drug test paper. Went to get drug test and asked about physical. Got physical. Should have volunteered nothing. Allowed that I snore loud. Now I have a 3 month card and have been told to have a sleep test. So the search is on for something not driving related.

At 3:30 he called and asked if I wanted to go to Katy with a Ceva load. I allowed that I really didn't want to get out there and find the place closed.

So I suppose that's what I'll be doing this morning.

Oh it turns out that Ceva doesn't get our usual rates, They pay less. And I got a paper on the back of my pay document that they are going to deduct from our checks for the overage.

Is that not an even clearer message to get the he&& out of the company?
