Yeah I had a vehicle but I was in the market for replacing it. Was looking at buying new but at $85k just couldn't justify it . Saw this truck on Thursday in my town at local dealer and went for a test drive on Friday. Thought "what the heck" and bought it.

Oh deary me! At 10am we started work on buddies truck. One BIG strike on standard trannies!
The clutch slave on this truck requires removing the transmission. Putting it back was the KILLER! And then we tried bleeding it. And could get no clutch throw.
We DID notice a wet trail down the firewall from the master cylinder though.
We went to Cleveland to get one and I was going to get a battery for the Montero but the card was not in my wallet. I last used it to get fuel a couple weeks ago. So if it's lost I did it.

We tried to get the master cylinder out but one bolt gave us heck. We finally called off at almost 9PM.

And I feel like I been rode hard!

Two more websites and I'll be eyelid inspecting.

    Rocks Thanks this.

We're only a few miles apart..

After they yank the tee-maters off I'm dumping this thing in the yard and heading north about an hour to the house.
