Where Are You Continues, Again.....

I'm heading back out tomorrow after ten days off. That was my choice, I needed the rest.

I'm jazzed tonight. I dug my compact karaoke system out of storage. I managed to pipe it right in to the truck stereo. Now I've got another way to pass down time on the road besides plunking down in the driver lounge for Law and Order marathons or watching videos on my computer. I'll still enjoy those past times as well as reading and surfing the internet. But how I've missed my own music.

If you see an old Orange freightliner parked at the far edge of the lot, don't park next to me unless you might want to join me. I'm going to be jamming out. And yes, I really can sing.

 

Things weren't bad coming up from Atlanta.
I stopped by the yard in Choo Choo and grabbed some treated fuel just in case we hit the 18 degree mark they forecasted

Left the yard and it started lighting and raining and had it all the way to Crossville
Wind has picked up and the temperature is down to 37

 

I had snow from the bottom of 294 just about all the way to Louisville.
Indiana did a great job keeping the roads clear.

Trying to decide where I shall park so as not to have under achievers knocking the paint off my door all night...

 

It's freakin cold here in IN... I'm at a FJ about 1.4 miles from shipper... Spent almost 2 hrs sitting in traffic because of an accident... Fedex jackknife and 2 other trucks... and couldn't make it to shipper in time today...
