I was "pushing"... trying to get to Love's in Coachella, CA but as I saw I wouldn't make it... I decided to park at this freaking rest area in CA... this crap is soooo small... I don't feel comfortable... but will not stay up all night watching trucks coming and going next to me... And it seems there are no lights in this freaking place... Maybe I should turn my running lights on... I just hope I will be able to leave early in the morning without much difficulty...

London (KY) Travel Plaza... dinner at the diner!

A K-whopper pullin' a van cuts in front of me in the dark, and the next thing I know is I'm plowin' through a blown up tire... must have been a wide single because there was so much of it and the chunks were huge. Holy cow! Doesn't look like I got any damage... sure glad I got that critter guard on the front.

Hmmph. Went to the office okay. Told Tom (Roland was absent sick or in jail take yer choice!
Then rode with the mechanic to get a truck from a dude they fired Friday.
This guy is wired up about 6 times too tight to be a truck driver,
He was grousing that the company owed him 4 checks but that Child Support got involved and he wasn't gonna get spit. That is either the truth or what Crystal told him to get out of paying him.

Anyway we got that truck (F250 Diesel with no working AC) and I got home about 12:30 and we finally got that truck down off the ramps about 6:30.
I feel like I got some special attention from some steel toe boots. I am BEAT!

Crystal called me to ask where British Air is. I don't know the address but I can describe how to get there. Later she texted pick up Rovsco 1 carton 40# and pick up Oceanex 1 skid and 1 carton 2297#. I likely wouldn't put that weight on my truck. But I'll do it to this one.

My traffic plan is to go down 59 to Little York, and run that all the way to Barker Cypress.
Sure there will be stop lights and school zones. But 610 and 10 will be parking lots at the time. And do I get any takers that before I hit BW8 southbound something will change?

    Rocks Thanks this.
