At least it's not 100 degrees and 150% humidity while I have this Ford.
I picked up a 40# carton on in FAR west Houston. And the 2300# skid was a Detroit 4-71 fully dressed. The way it was loaded scared the crap outta me!

I grabbed 4 Explosive Cartons at SDV for Hazmat Packing.
Then to the new location of TFE Group because there was a sign where they had been.
Then ran pretty hard to NOV in Conroe for a Direct Hot crate 155# going to SDV.
Have heard about a morning pick up at Fast Freight (docs) then Lufthansa for a 41# Hazmat going to Freeport. And now since the phone has been quiet and it approaches 5:30
I will VERY shortly be homeward bound.

    Richmond IN at loves.
Got unloaded ran to the yard drop off paper work got stopped by safety signed some papers.
Got a tire repaired fixed the mud flap on the trailer i was going to drop started to take it and drop at a customer when DSP came out and said they had someone bring it in.
Cool till I did my pretrip on it and well breaks where shot told the mechanic he said he did not have time to fix now so he put it OOS and we transferred ld to a empty.
Needless to say I did not make anywhere near where I wanted to be before my 14 was up.
Sad part is this is the same trailer I turned in for bad breaks 3 weeks ago

Yesterday I drove for almost 11 hrs and ran 681 miles... Today, drove almost 10 hrs but only 492 miles... That traffic on CA-57 N to I-210 W to I-5 N totally SUCKS!! :biggrin_25510::biggrin_2552:

Anyway, thankfully woke up this morning and the truck was intact... :yes2557: nobody scratched the paint at that dark tiny crappy rest area in CA...
Was the first one to check in at receiver this morning in Chino, CA and then headed to my second drop and faced that freaking CA morning rush hr traffic...
Now, parked in a corner of a small car fuel station, facing my consignee's fence...

They will unloaded me tomorrow morning.... And then I will head to my next shipper... And will have to go thru another AWFUL traffic congestion in Fremont and San Jose area... :biggrin_2552: But then will be heading to TX... :yes2557:

I was as light as a "feather" today... which helps... But tomorrow will be freaking heavy... :biggrin_2552: I hope and pray that the truck will not get sick again going up and down... Can't wait to get out of this state...
Going thru the traffic jam this morning, I was thinking.... How in the world people live here... and go thru this crap every freaking day...?? :biggrin_2552::biggrin_25526: I know I would not... :biggrin_25512:
