Sitting here in a Pittsburgh 'burb at the moment..

 

No sir... near US-41 in Tampa... Will posted some on the other Garage bear and whatever thread... will post more tomorrow... if I have time... no time right now...

I meant the weigh station you were parked in, on I-95 ?

Oh yeah... you know, after I shut down my computer last night I realized you were probably talking about the weigh station in SC where I took my 10.... Yeah... that was on I-95.... in St. George... was that one you were talking about? Place was very quiet... left early in the morning around 5 am east time... right after someone arrived to open the office and I could use their restroom.... there were 4 trucks parked there...

Now parked at a service plaza in OH... the weather totally sucks here... it's snowing, poor visibility... I don't like this area near the lakes.... it's freezin.... Going to deliver in MI tomorrow... another freakin freezin place.... and then will head a little south to IN, pick up another load at my company's warehouse and then head back to freakin MI...

I think I never took my 10 on a ramp... Have planned about it but never did... I wish I had he "guts" to do it... I worry about safety for the truck, myself, the load... And I wonder if some patrol officer will knock on my door and tell me to get out of there....
BTW, I have one time taken my 10 on a very wide shoulder on I-5 in WA state... or maybe it was OR... can't remember anymore... it was pitch dark at night, the rest area I had planned to park did not exist and I had no more time to get to nearest truck stop or whatever... there was nothing for miles and miles.... I was the only one parked there all night.... and there was no problem...
