I get paid detention after 2 hours so if the information I get is different from the what the customer says detention gets paid based on what the information I’m given. Yes it can be aggravating at times but it’s extra money my pocket.

 

Lil tip Rocks....next time lookin for air leak....take your Windex bottle with you...lightly spray the area....watch for bubbles....worx better n listening...imho anyway

Should relocate a bit further south at some point.

 

Wichita KS hit some snow again today. Nice 38 out. Deliver 2 miles away tonight at 2330. Pick late afternoon tomorrow on a whooping 200 mile load.

Yes sir! I have that too.... not Windex, I use Mr. Clean, it's very sudsy... sometimes, when I do my inspections, I walk around the truck with Mr. Clean in my hands, checking for air leakages everywhere... hoses, connections, tires, air bags...

 

Yeah... but what if you arrive early for the appt. they have? Let's say, your info shows 8 am but when you show up on time, they say it is 10 am? And it takes 2 hrs to get loaded/unloaded. Do you still get payed detention based on your info?
I guess yes... correct?
