Delivered Brunswick this morning. Hustled up to Greer. Taking my 10 in Greer. Loading for Long Island in the a.m. Sure do wish I could just stay South of Jersey!! Gotta go where the freight is I guess.
@Tall Mike speaking of the wind you were in Saturday. I got in a little spat with a DOT bear in Perryville. They didn't want me crossing the bridge going south and I was empty. They held me on the scale to remind me of the wind warning. She got a little miffed when I laughed at her and looked back at my empty quick loader.,.

Ran a shorty over here last night from Indiana....

 

I've had my fair share of Inspections over the years---and as I've posted many times before....they don't bother me and I've had very few bad experience's......that SB 95 scale at the cashbox makes any Cali Inspection seem like a Sunday day off bike ride......took a Sgt.....then the Lt...scale supervisor to finally get the inspector to cut me loose from the barn...after passing the equipment section with flying colors....to get the inspector to understand...that me showing 2 hours in bunk earlier that night...had nothing to do with stopping the clock....which the inspector was ranting and raving about how I CANNOT stop my 14 hour clock by going in the bunk.....and I could not get it thru said inspectors head---that it was irrelevant--since it was 8 am and didn't go On Duty until 11pm the night before.....and I still had 5 hours left on the 14.....probably one of the few times i was truly glad to be in my 50's at the time---because I promise you my 20-30's something me would've gone to jail that morning---lol
Course there was no such rule back then---and I was probably a tad behind on my book anyway

 

I don't! Lol! I've been very lucky and only had to go over hours once do get back across the GW in to Jersey. I usually cheat my way down to that Molly Pitcher service plaza. It's one of the bigger ones.
