The only time you're not mumbling that phrase under your breath is when you're munching on a burrito. Mike only has three food groups. BBQ ( brisket is technically a subgroup of BBQ ), Burritos and the magical elixir to wash it down. Cerveza. Aka beer.

Because they never have any log books for sale and you always need a couple new ones right when you get there ? ..... Amazing coincidence ! .....

Hey Mr. @Blu_Ogre ... after reviewing that comment, and checking Google maps, I realized that I have been in Texico, NM several times.... but I had totally forgotten... :biggrin_25526: And I was having a hard time trying to understand a port/ harbor in NM.... :biggrin_25523:
Hey... my apologies... my memory is not the best sometimes and some days it gets worse...

    4mer trucker Thanks this.

And before I forget... this is one of the reasons I prefer to drive at night...

    traffic1.jpg
    Traffic jams...

    traffic2.jpg
Traffic delays due to construction, accidents, etc....

    traffic3.jpg
Going at 5 mph... Spent OVER 1 HR in that... and right when I decided to take the exit ramp for a detour, they opened the highway... :biggrin_25523:

    BigBob410 and chopper103in Thank this.

It happens, I've forgotten more towns than I remember since changing where I run....

I also have a hard time piecing together what some of the easterners are talking about....

    No need to apologize,

I just happen to remember sleeping at the Stripes there being shaken to sleep by the constant trains. It was almost like a vibrating massage bed. And the negative reaction to finding any P.O.E. (port of entry) before my coffee had cooled enough to drink.

Yes Mr. @Blu_Ogre ... I have been in so many places.... was in that part of NM not very long ago though... but after so many places and lack of a steady routine, my poor memory gets confused... Every "morning" when I wake up, I have to ask myself, where I am, where I will be going, what day and time it is... :biggrin_25523:
