Where Are You Continues, Again.....

So... delivered at 6 am today at a muddy place... there were only flat bed trucks there... unloading went fast.
Then I went to another shipper and while I was sitting at the dock waiting to be loaded, I decided to call the receiver to double check the info and hrs.... And was told that they were booked up for 2 weeks and would not be able to receive my load this week or next week...
So... I called broker.. who for some reason wasn't aware of that detail...
Then, broker called receiver and after that, he called me back and said we needed to cancel that load...
I went to the shipper and told them and left... Then, told DSP who also didn't know anything about it... And I parked at this very small fuel stop in front of a Walmart somewhere near that shipper in ID...


Didn't take very long and DSP had another load for me... picking up tomorrow near the place I was this morning... And he is paying for all the empty miles + one day layover...
Now I am parked about 20 mins from shipper at a TA in ID...


Beautiful day today around here but the wind was super strong earlier today...

Chambersburg tonight at the shipper, picking up a load of rubber so that Federal Mogul can make brake pads

 

Loaded and parked on an empty lot of a closed fuel station on an US highway in UT up up in the mountains.... I am the only one here right now... probable will be the only one all night long... Pray to God that nobody touches this truck and trailer.... Beautiful clear sky with moon and stars... This fuel station will open at 8 am mountain time and I plan to leave at 7:30 mountain time... Going to bed right now... Y'all take care...

 

Hall, TN loading going back to the farm then drop and hook going to Virginia.
Looks like I might get home for the weekend that’s mighty nice of them after being out a month.
