Where Are You Continues, Again.....

And after that "adventure" in that plant, I wen to another shipper nearby...
And this was the entrance to their place... Went very slowly not to get scratches on the sides of the trailer...



Then... went thru this alley to get to their dock...

Ohhhh all the places we go in this company....

They said the load was "about" 44,300 lbs... So, I ran to the truck stop and got the weight... 81.730 lbs... And I had to go back to that shipper... They removed two pallets and then I was fine...
Took some back roads to cut short and avoid Atlanta traffic...



And finally, the last place I went today to deliver the load had wide open docking area....



With practically no more time to go much further... I parked at Pilot nearby that receiver...
And plan on leaving at 4 am central time... going to take my "hometime" this week.... from Saturday till next Saturday.... got lots of things to do... but will try to rest some...

I refused a NJ load yesterday. My usual run wasn't going today, so they presumed I was interested in going to NJ instead. I said "no thanks." He's a new guy and acted a little put out, and asked me "why?"

Because I don't feel like going to NJ, that's why.

The farm looking pictures look pretty much like most produce packing facilities I go to. Probably since those are usually located on or near a farm, coincidentally. LOL

 

Its snowing in New Jersey anyway so it was a good call

Eww. Too bad they can't get you something near York instead, surrounded by truck restrictions or low overpasses of course.

Edit to add: In case you're wondering, I'm in my comfy chair at home, where the pollen is blowing around in the soon to be 73º breeze. No snow in the forecast, just a little rain later. Might just have to put the new registration sticker on a murdercicle and make the neighborhood less quiet.
