Be careful you don’t spontaneously combust getting that close to California. :D

For almost a week now I have been SUPER busy during this so called "hometime".... :biggrin_2552:
Now at one of my "hometime" hotels on the same street where I pay truck parking..

Arrived here last Friday and have been doing lots and lots of things with no rest at all....
First thing I had to deal with during my "hometime" was a flat tire due to a bad valve stem.... Good thing I was not very far from a tire place... It looks like a "sea of tires"... the owner is a older man... maybe in his 80's and still working every day....

Then, stopped at the health food market to stock on some of my food for the next 3 months on the road... and had a wonderful vegetarian lunch...:) Finally I could eat the way I like... I always starve in the truck and tired of my own cooking.....

Have done a lot since when I got out of the truck last Friday and will be going back Saturday very early morning... Still have a list of things to do tomorrow... and will try to rest some before I go back in the truck...
Going to do a drop and hook in AR on Saturday and then run back to TN for delivery on Monday and then a couple other short runs that pay good flat rate... and then... who knows... maybe will cross country again... :)

    HOW ARE Y'ALL DOING? :biggrin_25519:

@Rocks ! ... Glad you had some time off. You got my hopes up when I read Sea .... I got so excited I scrolled down to the pictures hoping to see a bikini.
Imagine my disappointment. Then I start reading again and saw "of tires".
    Rats.

Hey... this time off has been EXHAUSTING....
DSP told me I can wait till Sunday to hit the road again if i wish... as the next load is already preloaded in a trailer in a 24/7 customer about 7 hrs away from here and I can go there anytime... then, it will deliver on Monday about 5 hrs away from where I'll do the drop and hook...
But I want to get back in the truck on Saturday very early morning and after I do the second drop and hook in TN, will be able to rest some on Sunday and maybe will socialize with a couple of friends who live nearby where I'll be parked... :biggrin_25519:
