And after a drop and hook at 5 am today in my company warehouse in TN, stopped at a trailer repair place to have a fitting replaced under trailer which was causing a slight air leakage and now parked at a shell fuel station in TN where I like to park when in this area... Will pick up in Memphis tomorrow morning but decided not to park at those Pilots and Love's there... those places are just AWFUL... those of you who know those truck stops may understand... they are always full, tight, folks park everywhere and anywhere, there are no good spots, the neighborhood is not that good... and I absolutely don't need to park there...
Will have enough hrs to pick up load tomorrow and deliver in OKC tomorrow evening...
Got a GREAT spot on the front row here and will not be blocked...

I just noticed that my pic didn't load up , so here it is

 

Is it my imagination or is there an increase of trucks... and truck drivers out there?
And that combined with less free parking spaces at the already congested truck stops and rest areas... And LESS rest areas cause many are closed for lack of money or something like that...
And just less free and safe places to park a rig nowadays...
AH... and I was forgetting the electronic log mandate that may be causing truckers to park more often for longer hrs...

Ohhh... I see now... yeah... that wouldn't give me a good feeling either... but I mean, no matter what truck it is... I never feel very comfortable when I see a truck backing next to me specially if it's dark...
