Yeah... actually, I did move the truck to closer to the exit... just in case some more trucks arrive this evening and park to my right side and in front of me and make it tight... Cause you never know...
I'll be leaving before 4 am east time...

 

Concordia Mo for lunch

 

I guess Concordia ain't too much for lunch. How many calories are in a Concordia ? That come with whole wheat toast ? I might have try one some time. Lemme know if you like it.

I started lunch early with my friends Mogen & David.

 

And the "free" parking had a price... The nice gentleman attendant, asked me to post a review of the truck stop on Google... he asked me to post his name and the location and everything and he would check the posting in 10 mins... I said ok... thought it would be fair for the "free" parking...
I have never posted a review online before... and wondered how to do it...
I don't have a smart phone, don't want one... all I have is a laptop... and as I thought... as I started to check how to post a review, I found out would have to go thru the "ordeal" of finishing my registration with Google... which means giving them a whole bunch of info about myself and spend time that I don't have with that.... I am not doing that... and neither am I interested in sharing my privacy online, and my location and my activity, etc, etc...
So... I did not post a review on Google... Went back into the store, with my laptop in hand and told him I couldn't do it...
So... after some talking, I decided to write a nice review of the place (it was all true) and he was able to post it at another search engine... And after that we were all "happy".... He even offered me "free" coffee... but no thanks... I don't drink coffee...

 

Life is constantly changing... nothing remains the same...
I started trucking not long ago... only 10 years... but I know it has been changing and nowadays much more than ever before.... Trucking will NEVER be what it used to be 20 or 10 yrs ago...
BTW... I wonder where Mr. @'olhand has been... and how he is doing... does anybody here know?

Finally got the Road Glide out of storage today not even thinking about work at the moment.

Attaboy!! I'm jealous!! I just took off 4 days sick...well 3 and 3/4. Went and loaded Friday and almost fell off the headrack dizzy from a sinus infection. Figured it wasn't worth it and finished loading in the rain and headed back to the house. Didn't feel much like doing anything besides sitting my happy hind end in front of the TV. Just delivered Richmond. I will try to get out for a putt this weekend.

 

I had a sinus infection a couple weeks ago they suck..
The headrack is no place to be dizzy thats for sure.

Lots of little shops selling gifts from Vermont...



This is one thing I don't like about drop and hooks... when you drop your perfect fine trailer and hook to a preloaded one just to find it has some air leakage on the air bag...



Well... good thing I am parked at a FJ in PA that has a repair shop... hopefully they will have the parts to replace.... Got a great parking spot this afternoon and will wait till the shop opens at 7 am to have the repair done..
Then, will rush to Blue Beacon for truck and trailer wash and then to the location where the delivery event will happen...
They allowed me to park there overnight tomorrow till the event on Wednesday morning...
Gotta go now...
