Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Hey.... who is that gentleman who lives in WV? Oh yeah... Mr. @OLDSKOOLERnWV
Anyway... I am in this little town in WV... staging at the shopping mall parking lot where the event will take place tomorrow...
But coming here... in this little town... after driving all day on I-68 MD under rain was enough to increase my cholesterol a little bit more....

I can say that my company is specialized in going to places where big trucks are NOT supposed to go... Good grief... the places we go...

The streets coming to here are not big enough for a truck + the rest of the traffic...


I had to take a little bit of the left lane so not to rub the tires on the curb... and opened the window and made eye contact with drivers behind me so they could see and understand what I was doing and thank GOD they were very patient...



Then... the streets go UP and DOWN... and the turns are very tight... Turned my flashers on and came very slowly to that intersection on top of the hill cause I was going to make a right turn but had to stay on the left lane and make sure the traffic behind me was completely stopped so I could make the right turn....


And took the WHOLE street...



Good thing there was no vehicle parked at that coin machine.... that would be VERY tight...


And then, going on a very narrow street, lots of traffic, lots of curves, up and down... I did like the truck drivers in India... played my service horn when coming to a curve to alert the incoming traffic.. and they would all move as close as they could to the curb...


Drove at 25 and 15 mph on that curvy street... Specially when approaching another curve... hard to keep the whole truck and trailer in only one lane....



Definitely not a place for a big truck with a sleeper like mine...



But these are the places we go....
And I was sooo thankful to arrive here with no scratch... As I entered the parking lot, a couple of folks were waiting for me... and told me where to park... Here I am...


And now they have blocked the whole parking lot... as the stores have closed for the night...

Now... my only concern is how to leave this place... and this town without any scratch as I will have to go thru downtown again... Ohhhh Lord, have mercy...

And it is raining buckets again...

 

In Mebane for a 10...drop Greensboro in the a.m. then off to Greer.

Man he is growing like a fertalized weed. He is a quiet youngin for sure. So far only smiles for Paw paw

 

That's awesome man!!! I can't wait 'til mine start having little ones!! Good times and when they are ornery I can just give 'em back!!!
