I think we finally finished up the contract to KCMO off of Chouteau Trafficway. This was an 8,000 ton contract. I'm preloaded for the little mixing strip NW of Mcpherson, the one with the powerlines?? I took some pics with my smartphone..


Can I move farther away from it? Nope, this is a narrow little strip, not very level either.


After attempting to electrocute myself, I then load salt again for a different KCMO city yard. This one is off of I-35 & Parvin Rd.

Was busy yesterday, preparing for my upcoming vacation, which starts the 27th. We're taking granddaughter to see her other grandmother (my ex), in Wilmington, NC. So the first preparation was a newer car for the wife. She's been driving a ''03 Ford Taurus, it has 145k miles on it. We felt that it might be time to trade it in. After weeks of research she decided this is what she wants..


It's a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse. It's a nice ride, plenty of room. It's a Certified Pre-Owned, program car. It has 30k miles on it, but still pretty new and shiny. So instead of paying $30k I managed to get it for $25k. It has the back-up alert system, but not the camera. I told her if she feels that she needs the camera we can have it installed. I just don't want her pulling T/S stuff, backing into things..

Must have been cornfused, looking back when he should've been looking forward??? How the heck does someone manage that feat? Did his trailer hit you or he just ran straight into, like forgetting to apply the brakes to stop???

he was pulling into the spot beside me to back into the one across from me
but his tandems were too far back
he nudged me then pulled forward more
by then he was wedged so I had to pull out moving over a spot so he wasn't blocking the whole lot
Mexican speaking poor English so I had to talk to his carrier and give them all the information.......sigh
