It's been a week today since I saw my chiropractor. I cancelled my Tuesday since I was feeling good and not in any pain.
Morning PeteFloTheWaitress Thanks this. -
Getting ready to head to Emporia and get my truck. The shop called at 5pm telling me it's ready. Hopefully it'll be good for at least 6 mos. Heading to Great Bend, then possibly KCMO. If it's raining in KC, I won't be able to dump, so I'll have to sit on the load until it stops raining.

I can't think of ANYTHING. I mean ANYTHING. That would be as good as crawling back into my bed. I sort of had the notion that as I get older I wouldn't WANT/NEED as much sleep.
I did get at least 7 hours. It just doesn't FEEL like it.
And Eaton.... Is a Tarp REALLY waterproof? Is that stuff going to come out of that trailer like grain through a goose even after a BUNCH of rain???? -
I run away from chiropractors.
otherhalftw, chopper103in and Giggles the Original Thank this. -
Screenings, and AB-3 stick really bad. I've had to shovel them out when it was 96 degs outside. In the winter time when it hits 32 or colder I coat my trailer with antifreeze to help keep it from freezing and sticking.
De-icing salt can not get wet, or else the product will clump real bad and then start "melting". Soybeans you don't even want them wet, they make a real mess in the trailer and is hard to get out. Of course you don't want any AG products to get wet, elevators tend to reject them if there's too much moisture content.
Not only must it be water-proof, it must seal to a near air-tight seal when we haul kiln-dust, fly-ash or gypsum. The first 2 are such fine powders that it would blow out while driving down the road, if the tarp did not seal around the trailer.
Truck done alright today, so I think I'm good to go for another 5 or 6 months. Hauled the rock to Great Bend, then loaded at Lyons. However could not make it to KCMO before 3 pm, so I'm home until morning. Then it depends on the weather, no rain, I can dump, if it's raining up there, well, dispatch finds a dry place to accept it or it stays in the box.teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -
I actually got home a little over two hours ago.
Did seven delivery tickets. Had one 9# Haz Mat rejected so that was two tickets.
Carried one piece 3,694# and 22.26' long. PROBABLY not legal. But for a 3 mile airport transfer I'll take chances.
Supposed to pick up 3 pallets at 5,400# in the morning.... and will if my left front tire holds together..... -
teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -
How are you doing with the new job and being home? -
Indra, did you get my pm?
