Where Are You....continues........

Rain held off in KC so managed to get unloaded. Then bounced to Ottawa, loaded rock and took that to Great Bend. From there back to Lyons, and now I'm loaded for a return trip to KCMO, Monday. It didn't start raining until I hit Ottawa, well why wouldn't it? I beat the rain to KC, so it served no useful purpose, until I had to get out and "roll my rag" and swing the bows to load. Then it rained the whole day, from there to Great Bend and didn't stop until I was back at the yard.

 

I'm in KC at the J....got here yesterday after delivering and found....what???....the place was fully one-third empty! Couldn't believe it....never seen it this quiet. Taking a 34 after a very productive 10 days.

Me thinks a certain "old classic" had best find a way to track down a teddy_bear......or you'll be in so much trouble we'll hear about it out here in CA!

 

Salem VA, at the Kroger. Waited to park last night for 45 minutes while a Swifty trainer managed to talk a Swifty trainee into a parking spot. Admittedly, it's a lousy parking lot... but still, I think the trainer needed a lot of work.

 

Butte mt. On to Saskatoon sk today. Drop tommorow @ 5am then reload back to Winnipeg for a couple days home. Should be back on the road Thursday : )

 

Thought I'd add this....a sight from yesterday while parked for a bit at the TA in Concordia, MO. We were NOT at the fuel island. Driver came out of the sleeper, did not do a walkaround, and left about a half-hour later.

I would really love to find Pack and visit, but it's a full weekend planned at the Bear homefront. Family reunion that I didn't know we were attending until about :05 minutes ago. We have to get some of this packing done and ready to move. The end of the month is fast approaching.
