Great Bend, at Wally-World. Had the hydraulic hose blow with the bed almost straight up. Oil went every where and bed came down hard. Got it fixed, spent my last $30 washing off the truck, and now out of hours. Still need to go back and dump.

I'm worried about how well they are going to take the move. I tell myself as long as they are with us, they will do fine, but I have a feeling it's going to take longer than we plan. I just hope they don't get sick from the change of environment.

Sorry about the luck, Eaton. You've just had some rough times with these trucks. Hope it gets better soon.

the furry ones will be just fine
ours have been across from Chicago to nj 3 times now
in 8 years and every move has introduced them to a new furry creature
in a couple of days they are all fine

25 years ago we did have one cat that lived in the linen closet for a few weeks when moving
but she was always a lil strange

    FloTheWaitress and teddy_bear6506 Thank this.

I've moved with dogs before and never had problems, but this will be a first with cats. I've taken them on short voyages before, and they've been fine. I'm sure they'll do fine, but I'll worry about them the first few days.

Time for me to visit the sheets again. G'night all and sweet dreams ~Hugs~

We had cats and dogs when we lived in Houston. One cat would just turn around and swipe a claw at any dog and they ALL backed off! Here in Shepherd the life of ANY creature not another dog would have life measured in minutes or seconds. They have caught any number of rabbits and squirrels!!!

I rolled in with 5 down at 18:45. As I hit the driveway my "Light Out" light came on.
What would be a piece of cake with a regular tailgate is almost a nitemare with a liftgate.
Got it off finally (the assembly) and figured out what was wrong. While I had it out I fixed where part of the liftgate latch had hit it in the past.

Have a 10am cutoff to Air France to pick up in the morning. If SDV aren't up to their usual tricks I'll make it easily.....
