6 hours and counting at kroger

 

At home for the evening. Started out Monday loading out near home, down to Perry, GA with original delivery appt for Weds am, empty Tuesday evening instead. Loaded Weds for a Thursday am drop in New Boston, MI, picked up in western MI Thursday afternoon, dropped this morning in Oconomowoc and Stevens Point, WI, and then home. We load tomorrow morning for a Monday am in Bessemer, AL.

I bumped my first dock this morning since getting back in the seat, and only took 2 pull ups to get backed in. For 13 years out of the seat, I think that was a pretty good first dock!

 

Even after stopping at Best Buy and buying an Otterbox Commuter (Defender was just too chunky!) I got home at 18:20. Not a usual Friday by ANY stretch of ANY imagination!
4 delivery tickets. 1 minimum payer and 3 sort of distance runs.

Was asked if I wanted to go out of town. Answered I have not the money for fuel or emergency. Asked where and it was Louisiana. Found out later I might could have done it because there is SOME money in the bank. Live and learn.

 

AMAZING! 17 hours since I last posted. If this was the Last thread I would certainly have won!

 

Fixin to head south--not lookin forward to new RULES--but gonna try to make the best of them for now and see how it plays out---sigh--anyway--yall check out my post in "Everything" would love soome suggestions Thanx

@ home. Played some golf this week, went helped my gf's brother move a sofa today and then went out for lunch. Got some work driving for my father-in-law starting next week hauling fertilizer. Will be good to get back working as Im getting bored sitting around the house.
My trucks up for sale if anyones interested, details are in the marketplace section of the forum. Im bummed to put it up for sale. If it doesnt sell by years end then I will probably find something for it to keep it busy. Plenty of work but got to find the right thing money wise and schedule wise that suits me. Will be making some good coin on this job coming up next week, jobs on until christmas time so have some time to look around for what i will consider if the truck does not sell. If the truck does sell and this seasonal job wraps up at years end then i might just take my stash of gold and go visit margaritaville for a while
