Indianapolis In. I haven't parked here in years. Sat for 5 1/2 hours getting unloaded and only had 30 minutes on my 14. Went to one of the Indy truck stops close by and as I was driving through the fuel island and lucky me a driver was pulling out of a spot. Wooohooo!!!

Sigh, it was another two run Monday. And I didn't even get the first one until 13:15.
My second one took me to Panalpina. That place is usually a madhouse. Today it was easy breezy. And two trucks of another company were sitting still outside of SDV.

If this week is as lousy as last week it would almost pay me to stay home.

So... I was in a hotel for a while... then I moved to another hotel... very nice room indeed... I was surprised.... didn't expect to be that nice...

Left the hotel this morning and now I am here... back in my new "home sweet home".... similar to my last one... Hopefully will be here for a while... but only time will tell....

@ home. This weeks fertilizer loads are off now. Wont be on it until end of the month apparently. Was a good sounding run as well, Portage la Prairie MB to Dauphin MB. Would have been easy money, anyways will be hanging round the house a bit longer now. I put a bunch of new pics of my truck for sale in the classifieds section of the forum if anyones interested. Been getting lots of calls from telemarketers looking to consign the truck to whatever scam they are running LOL. Had one number call from Los Angeles area, had a very thick Asian accent and was difficult to understand but I knew what he was getting at. I played him out a bit then said "did you say want to make me an offer of $50k?" . He was backing up from there!
Got one serious sounding enquiry from Sakatchewan so e-mailed off a bunch of pics and info, hopefully something comes of it. Had another inquiry from Ontario but he was just interested in how cheap I would sell it, told him I could send as much info as he wants but he didnt want that, just wanted to know how low I would go. I told him a reasonably reduced rock bottom "pay cash and its yours as is were is" price. It still didnt interest him so I said sorry if you want it any cheaper doesnt look like we can work on this.
Lots of time wasting in selling a truck but gotta take every call as if its a potential buyer, doesnt take long to recognize the tire kickers.
Oh BTW I asked BullHaulersWife to change my O/O status line to "O/O, on the shelf." as Im not operating as an O/O at the moment and didnt want to mis-represent my status to those that dont know me.

    truckon Thanks this.
