Sitting in Lansing, MI at the J. Unloaded Sunday am, killed the rest of the day. Loaded Monday about noon-ish in Mississippi, and now here in MI. Was suppose to drop today (broker demanded a FIRM eta since this is a cross-dock load going to Cana-duh . . . another idiot at the broker sort of forgot they needed us to fax them the bills, so we don't get to get rid of this until tomorrow 8 am. They better make it snappy tomorrow too, as we are set for a reload going back to WI and have to be there before noon tomorrow to pick up. Not far from where we drop at least.
Where Are You....continues........

Lodi, WI watching midds dribble out of my trailer in tears because CS didn't call when she was in town.
Got to pretend I was Eaton yesterday except I had to drop my salt through a 4" slot. It wasn't a lot of fun.
Yesterday night I watched a Swiftie try to make a right turn in a construction zone. I couldn't believe he couldn't see he wouldn't make it but he didn't even try to make a swing, just turned like he was driving a car.
Didn't know those barrels would get that flat.Lilbit, truckon, teddy_bear6506 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I rolled in at 19:15 after another 5 stopper. I spent long enough down near the San Jacinto Monument and the BB35 Battleship Texas (of which I got some pics and if the camera wasn't out in the truck I would have posted at least one). Rode the Lynchburg Ferry too.
For my last one today it was three cartons of Hazmat to Cargolux where it only took 45 minutes to drop. -

Delivered in TN today, then immediately after being unloaded got a broker load about 15 mins from there and rushed... what another place to back in....
But today did much better than last Friday. I was impressed with myself...
BTW, this is how much space I had in front of me last friday when I spent 40 mins to put trailer straight and centered in the dock...it was in NJ... couldn't even get trailer and truck totally straight... I'm out of shape....
Seems that 90% of drivers in this company have 20+ years experience. I am the only "rookie" here... and that is intimidating... Today one of their drivers told me they go to very difficult places and extremely difficult docks. I haven't seen anything yet...Well... if I don't screw up... I will learn how to back once for all...
So, got loaded and now going to COLORADO!!! Yey!!! And will start recapping my hrs tonight... Let's see how long this recap will last. Gotta rush to shower now and try to sleep for a few hrs. By y'all...
Oh yes... I am at a Pilot in KY.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
