Ohh... thanks for the kind words...:biggrin_25520: Yes... I was calling that 511 every 30 mins.... and that was saying road open but no light trailers.... And I was also checking the WY DOT website at the same time... I guess I let myself become influenced by my lady friend trucker who freaked out and told me not to leave yesterday or a "disaster" might happen....:biggrin_2554: By the time I realized the "no light trailers" advise on the website was only an advise and not a restriction, and I could handle the strong wind and the almost mpt trailer, I had only 3 hrs left from my 14 and so, I decided not to leave any more....
Left truck stop at 3 am central time and ran almost 11 hrs. Now at a Pilot in ID. Will leave at 1 am and run all the way to receiver. Will dlvr this load tomorrow morning but then will have only time to go to nearest truck stop and park... Well, will take back roads tonight... it might be fun! The weather is good, dry, no traffic... only lots of ups and downs, in the middle of nowhere and hills... and curves... it's going to be an exciting and learning adventure for me... :yes2557: Should be in bed now but still finishing having my meal here.... Gotta go... you all be safe.:biggrin_25519:

I'm on my way from my house in the city to the yard out at the farm today. Got at least 4 loads to haul to start off the week. 1 load of dry fertilizer then 3 loads of liquid sulphur. That should be enough to keep me busy until at least Wednesday. Might be heading to minniapolis with the GMC dually and gooseneck to haul back a compressor and man-lift if there's no loads on Thursday.

So.... I thought I would go to a Pilot after delivery this morning...:biggrin_25512: DSP sent me another load assignment while I was being unloaded. Pick up about 15 mins from my last dlvery but then no time from my 14 to go anywhere and now parked on the customer's driveway till past midnight to start my run. I want to take advantage of the no traffic at night and hopefully the scale houses will be closed. I was extra light and now I will be EXTRA heavy.... Had to ask customer to remove some weight cause their scale was showing 80,280 lbs.... Now it shows 79,800 lbs :biggrin_2554: But I will stop at nearest Pilot and get my weight... if I am completely legal, will seal it. The bridge law in UT doesn't allow more than 40'6" distance from king pin... I hope I can make myself legal so I don't have to take back roads to avoid UT... Enough back roads last night... Going to deliver in TN.... over 41 hr trip.... may reset before delivery.... gotta call broker.... and customer... and schedule with them... and then tell dsp.
