Only SDV can mess things up so often. On the way in "Pick up 5pc 5705# at SDV for Air France with 10:30 cut. Arrived SDV at 8:30. Left loaded at 10:17. Walked into Air France at 10:32 but they didn't grouse about it. Also loaded 2751# for Cargolux. Dropped that and went to get lunch. Pick up truck only run to west beltway 8 for 211# (actually 461# and the 57 inch crate only JUST went between the sides of my Liftgate that I measured at 58.5ish inches.
Took that back to SDV.

And except when he called to see if I could get a 24 foot tube at FMC that was it. Of course I couldn't. 18 foot of trailer. Didn't want to hook again anyhow.

had orientation with Averitt last week, went out with a driver for a couple of loads to see how the Dollar General thing works.
sitting at home right now, headed to northern Illinois in the morning to see my sick mother .....life goes on..................

 

So, I've got a dilemma. Enough time has passed that the next load is ready and the guy who's turn it is is sleeping.

Do I wake him up and wait another 2+ hours for my load to be ready or do I jump in front of him?
