After taking a satellite view of the place where the other truck and I are supposed to deliver this load.... I like I am still here.... and by the way, the truck is still sitting outside the shop waiting.... I guess I will call other driver and ask him to come pick up my trailer and deliver this load for me....
Service person here told me they ran a diagnostic and came up with 2 or 3 faulty codes... but no egr problem... I just hope they can have this fixed before they close on Saturday 18:00 so I don't have to go to a hotel.
Brought my cooler and a few other things to the quiet room and now camping here....I was the only one here all night. Took the best recliner... the thing becomes a bed!
Brought my blanket, my warm long socks and was cozy all night. Had I tried to sleep in the truck, would be concerned about the mechanic coming in the middle of the night to wake me up...
Had a nice bowl of fruits and yogurt and honey this morning... Walked 1 mile last night to and from a Subway... that's the only place for food around here.... But I still have a lot of vegetables and fruits in my cooler. And my "friend" driver will bring me another bag of ice this morning.teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -
That's what "annotations" is for. My co. doesn't allow us to edit our logs
So, the "annotations" doesn't work.
And we have to "monitor" our hrs so we don't go over 8 hrs and/ or the remaining hrs.... My elog here will give us only one warning when we have 59 mins left to drive and nothing else. I remember once when I started using this Peoplenet, I lost track of my mins and miscalculated my hrs.... Was entering construction zone when elog gave me a warning that I had 00:00 hrs available to drive.... I ended up taking my mandatory 30 at.... well... I better not say....
Eaton18 Thanks this. -
I am still at home. One of my Batteries seems to have pooped out and taken the other one WAY down. I only have a small 10/2 AMP charger and it's not there yet!

What can I say zen, the new truck runs real strong!
-
WOW Logan! That's AWESOME!!
Well.... I am on the couch too.... the same one that transforms into a bed... where I slept (kinda) last night here in the quiet room at Freighliner.... Fellow co. driver came, already delivered his load, dropped his trailer at co. warehouse nearby and took my trailer here and headed to same receiver again to deliver my... now his load. And "my" truck is still being serviced... I'm fine, not complaining... hopefully repairs will be done before they close on Sat. Hopefully will be done today... Shall see... -
I95 rest area at Fayetteville NC. Got ahold of a moron load planner yesterday... hooked me onto something that won't be ready until tomorrow, delivers LATE Monday. Fortunately, my regular FM got me onto something that works a little better. Still... this is going to be a wasted week.

I went to town started about 11:30 to get 17 pieces of Hazmat. Did not take too long to load. Got to Air France and it took about an hour and fifteen to find out it was going back. Took about 45 minutes to get unloaded. At 4:26 I am told to be at Murphy by 5:30.
As is par for the course as far as those people go it was two pu # / 2 AWB. Was just about to send loaded when he called and said go back. This was for a small box to United.
After 30+ minutes at AF, it was about 45 at United to find out it wasn't going. Supposed to be there 3 hours before flight. Was utterly impossible for me to have done it even going there first. Dispatch said hold it until Monday. Stopped and got a radiator hose and some antifreeze. Now at Taco Bell leaving soon for home.
