I hope not... but it's possible that I will be here till end of the week.... These Freightliner folks here don't seem to give a rat's rear end about their customers... :biggrin_25512:
Was talking on the phone to a trucker friend of mine... he said those folks kept his truck for 15 days.... :spiderman: and he will NEVER, EVER go back there... :biggrin_25510:
He is parked at TA in Ontario right now and even though he is having some water leakage problem, he will have service done elsewhere. I will meet him later for lunch or something....

As big a piece of crap this Columbia is, it does have the best transmission of any truck I've driven.

Council Bluffs IA, at the TeeYay, in a not-for-rent parkin' spot. Grabbed a loaded trailer at ConAgra... first time EVER I haven't had to go back to get the load reworked.

I love Roland like a brother but....
I was dispatched to get 7954# at SDV and it was 2954#.
Took it to Texas Terminal (Another Port of Houston sort of place) and 1.25 hours later I left there.
Then met my Sister at the truck stop to give her some of my check money and drop the trailer.
Then go get a 895# Pallet at a place on N. Post Oak and take it to a place on Farrell Rd. just off N. Hardy Rd.

    And that was all.

Not having a "home" anywhere gives me a feeling that anywhere can be "my home"... Like this hotel room here... just like the other hotel room where I normally take my "hometime"... But hopefully will be in the truck soon... that's my "home" too... for most of the time. It's like anywhere can be my "home"... and still nowhere is my "home".... :biggrin_25512: BTW, what is "home" anyway? Ok, enough rambling...

"home" for many truckers is just another 4 letter word!

And for me...after my "vacation" (less than 2 weeks away)..."HOME" will certainly be a 4 letter word that I will be very happy getting back in that truck and resting! I just got a glimpse of the honey-do list!!!!!!:biggrin_25521:
