Where Are You....continues........

Thank you so much for the ride Otter.... Hey, talking about those bites... I would say 50 or more.... Not sure those are flea bites only.... I found two ticks in the Quiet Room yesterday afternoon... Not staying in that room any more... Washed my hair last night before I went to bed in the truck. My company mechanic called Freightliner today to give them "hell"... Freightliner told him truck will be ready around 15:00 today (Calif time). If so, my co. will be closed by that time and dsp will be at home... And I may spend weekend at warehouse.... Not paying to park at TA... or Petro... We shall see....

 

Alexandria Bay, NY. Waiting to cross the toll bridge into Canada off the I-81 but it's closed due to high winds. Long line of trucks waiting with me. Could be here for awhile.

Ah yes! Back before jakes were common, that place was second only to Bruce's in Bakersfield as a place to watch the idiots sail by trailing smoke like a booster on re-entry!

 

Sorry you don't share my opinion Cranky...
But maybe it's because I saw him as a respectful, kind and nice gentleman - that he is - and treated him like such...
But hey, don't be jealous Cranky... you are a gentleman too... a rugged gentleman...

Today was my last day driving. It has been an extraordinarily interesting and educational year and I had the good fortune of meeting all of you but it became extremely apparent over the past month that it was time to get back to practice.

The only true tragedy of the year was I didn't get to meet Otter.

I wish all of you the best and will pop back in from time to time and see where you are and how you are doing.
