Zen Trucker Thanks this.

You don't have to leave just because you aren't in the industry. You're always welcome here. Best wishes ~Hugs~
Zen Trucker, Rocks and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
So, here I still sit, at Freightliner... and may be here till next week...
They told me, after all job was done, they ran a regeneration and didn't like the results... Will have to wait till Monday to continue troubleshooting.... I am considering going back to that hotel... the first one... not the other one next to TA
I am not the only driver who has been here for so long... Some folks have been here for a week or almost with the same problem...
And another driver, after running 50 miles had to come back with same problem...

Yesterday could have been a real disaster for me. I435 E KCMO, I'm in the lane just to the right of the big-truck no-no lane (hammer lane). I'll need to jump into it to take US-71. It's raining and thankfully have good distance from car in front. Suddenly some 4 wheeler decides to play bumper cars, hits the concrete medial barrier, ricochets back across 2 lanes, causing a 4-5 car crash. By the grace of God, I had enough of a whole in the hammer lane to shoot around them. The cars had not come to rest when I went by. I didn't dare stand on the brakes, fearing that I would make that little pile up look minor.
Home for the weekend, pre-loaded with more salt for KCMO..
Rocks, darn girl, I would not be able to tolerate that kind of service. I guess you don't have much of a choice, cheap motel, bug infested "quiet room" or your truck. Since you also run Peoplenet Blu.2, could you jump over to Regulations section and have a read at my post there? http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...rip-inspections-logging-eobr.html#post3626321 I'd appreciate your advise.Rocks Thanks this. -

Don't be a stranger Zen!
Greg dispatched all day. SIGH.
Another NW Houston to Dayton with 2 plt Hazmat.
Then a plt from Mesa drive to China Air.
Then he says I have a pickup at Murphy. I ask how big how many. 2 boxes. I KNEW it would be two pu#/AWB and I was RIGHT! Air France. And the paperwork for one box was screwed up. I talked to the Murphy lady on the phone and to be VERY charitable I find Greg to be quite a bit smarter! Was there almost an hour waiting on faxed correction. By this time it was 17:15. Not another peep out of the company.
Did I mention they are no longer going to supply logbooks? And they want paperwork and logs turned in Monday Wednesday and Friday.
Sure wish I knew where to bail out to. But other drivers all say dispatchers are bad. -
Eaton, I posted a comment on your other thread about the Peoplenet... check it out and let me know if you have any other question... I will be glad to answer.
Talked to foreman at the Freightliner shop here and he told me truck passed the test but they need approval from Detroit to release truck. It will likely be Monday... And I am going to gather a bunch of stuff inside truck and will check in a hotel, that first nice one, with no fleas and no bed bugs...Eaton18 and teddy_bear6506 Thank this. -
So, once again, I got some of my stuff, cooler, bag, stove, pot, this and that.... and came to the hotel with no bed bugs, no fleas, clean smell and lots of cable tv channels...
ironpony, teddy_bear6506 and Eaton18 Thank this.
