Hey Otter... I saw when he was backing the truck... he laid it out behind it. IMHO that seems the best way to do it. Isn't it?
I think that "spider" is very weak and I agree with someone here who said he would use 2 bungee cords. I think those are stronger than the spider.
I don't intend to chain and hope I will never need to. My co. doesn't allow us to chain anyway...
I think I have watched that video of yours... and will watch it again just in case... :biggrin_25519:

Greg was dispatching. At a little before 14:00 when I was approaching a drop in Sugarland (about as far from the trailer as I ever get) he says I have a good payer going to Snyder, TX.
My GPS got messed up by the dog and so while on the phone I can't look anything up.
He says it's about 9 hours. I say I can't get there on the remaining hours in my logbook. And that I am almost to Sugarland anyhow. He got a bit huffy and hung up.

Anyhow I have a 7:30 pu at Murphy going to West Houston and a pu at FMC ASAP going to SDV.

So pretty quick I'll be hitting the sheets!

I'm back at the hotel WITH THE TRUCK! :yes2557: Got it this evening, seems to be ok... We shall see... And it was ALL UNDER WARRANTY! :yes2557: Co. will pay $0.00.
Now I am rushing again.... Cooking, putting my things back in the truck, gotta clean the windshield, take a shower, have dinner and go to bed. DSP wanted to give me load for tomorrow at 8:00 about 7 hrs from here.... But I asked them to reschedule for Wed morning. Gotta p/up my trailer tomorrow morning nearby and then will head to shipper during the day. And then, will bring load back to here... Hope truck doesn't break down again... Crossing my fingers. Gotta go... :biggrin_25519:
