You and I both know that... just a way of expressing Ol' hand's rejoinder to the request made of Cranky without involving the "#" key. My ice is thin... even this time of year!

 

Talk about ice...........it's sleeting in KCK. I can hardly wait to get out in it. At least it doesn't look to last long, since the forecast shows a sunny high of 48 today, and we all know how precise forecasters are.

Oh... I do so much stuff... it's already 20:00 central time... and I gotta start driving at 3:30 am.... Will cook something very quickly here... can food + leftovers... and hit the sack... Busy day tomorrow... and the traffic jam here in Calif is Was near Sacramento this morning... Tomorrow going to Los Angeles area...
Oh yeah... now in a rest area in CA... no busy, loud, and congested Pilots for me... This parking place here is easy in and easy out.

 

Dave rolled in 19:00 after visiting the second Walmart (The one I should have hit to start with) for a new Garmin GPS to replace the ancient one the dog messed up.
I had a "four" day.
First from the office to Tomball to get a 9# carton going to SDV.
Second going about 1/2 mile from SDV to get 430# going to SDV.
Third going across town to Kempwood Ave just outside BW8 for 1000# going to SDV.
Fourth (The reason I haven't told dispatch to never send me there again) Murphy Shipping to Accelerated with 11,202# (all one one pu#/AWB)

I've probably made between 350 and 400 so far this week. Here is hoping I can double or triple it in the next two days!

Finishing up my 10 at Arvin T/A...deliver 0600 in Sacramento...local work (maybe) the rest of the day, and maybe something on Friday....then a week at the old homestead and that "honey-do" list!
