Truckerdawg
is a pure-bread miniature Schnauzer rescued from dawg jail at the Denver Dumb Friends League. They're a really big no-kill shelter in Denver CO. He's about 20 lbs, and small enough that he doesn't get in the way, yet makes noise if anyone is around the truck. I like the older dogs from a good shelter because they're housebroken to start with, and usually very well behaved. I sprang Truckerdawg
from slam back in February. He was found wandering near one of the larger intersections in SE Aurora CO right about Christmas time, 2012.
'olhand, otherhalftw, Zen Trucker and 4 others Thank this. -
I hope TruckerDawg knows how lucky you are to have found him. Thanks for letting me know you made it safely.
My oldest boy came into my life as a stray, my little girl was saved from the death chamber by 1 day from the vet's office, and the lil guy was from a friend who was searching for homes, and I wanted some company on the road.
My plan was to sleep in until 0500, the kids' plan was to start waking me up at 0300, our normal time for getting up. Little heathens.
Getting myself psyched up for the shot to come about 1000. Prayers and good wishes are welcome that all goes well and it works. My mom called last night to wish me good luck and let me know she and dad are thinking of me and hoping my pain goes away, and also to get more details of how this will work out regarding having surgery. I'm still guessing they will "surprise" me by coming back to help out.
Wishing y'all a fantabulous day. ~Hugs~Zen Trucker, NDBADLANDS, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and 4 others Thank this. -
I had a day yesterday that I would just like to forget about.
The absence of information REALLY irritated me.
Take this one for example. "Pick up Steel Supply drop Sumner on a Direct Hot"
Notice no info on what I'm getting. But Steel Supply would SEEM to indicate trailer needed don't you think? So I boogied over there and got a 4" pipe ell every bit of 5# and rides in the cab. Dispatch says to my byatching "I didn't say take the trailer".
But he didn't say NOT too either!
Kinda burned.teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -
Truckergirl0720 and Dave 1960 Thank this.
