Where Are You....continues........

So... exterminator co. came to Freightliner today... and they are still here...



They checked the light on top of the recliner where I slept for 4 nights... said that room and the TV/lounge were infested with bed bugs... But driver who complained about being bitten said it was a tick... Well... bed bugs and ticks... What about that? Right in my "cozy quiet corner"....



They are treating the whole area and blocked it all...



I called my co. to let them know what is going on.... because last night I found one tick (or bed bug) in the truck... And if I find more, may have to have truck treated... They agreed with it. Talked to Freightliner manager here and told him not to allow animals inside the building any more.... cause some may carry those ticks...

In the meantime, mechanic who is working on the truck is a young, computer type of technician who prefers to rely on what computer says and exchange emails with Detroit rather than investigate and troubleshoot problem himself. I will see if I have more luck with night foreman...

 

Orientation and On Board Computer training done. My brain hurts!
Got the weekend off in Edmonton. Going to the West Edmonton Mall tomorrow then will go downtown and check out Whyte ave, it's supposed to be the "it" spot in the city.

Hint... "Little America" on I80 Pete. There's one in Cheyenne too. Go to the restaurant, not the fuel island snack bar!

At the TA in Concordia MO... grabbed my Schuyler load around 10, ran the same route in DALIGHT (Okay Otter???)... the same route I have run to that place maybe a dozen times in varying states of lighting... and no snow!

...but plenty of wind!!!

 

I was only commenting on the fact you can "see" more during the day. You said "will see what we will see"...or something like that!

 

Most peelots aren't very exciting....until the rookies come in and do their "parking practice"!!!
