Pickup 190# at FMC for SDV
    Drop both.

Pickup 1# at Grainger in NW Houston for a Pearland place.
    Drop the Documents.
Pickup 2 hoses in Pasadena for Pearland place
    Go drop in Pearland.
Wait. Finally go back up to the truckstop.
At 3:30 "pickup one crt Murphy for Air France 449# ready 4:30.
As loaded with that one get "Pick up Murphy for United 725# ready 5pm
As waiting for that haughty little Byatch comes out and says you must go deliver Air France and come back. Called dispatch and it went straight to voicemail on his phone.
Deliver AF and go back for United.
At United nearly an hour finally unloaded.
Home about 20:06 ate supper and plugged my new Garmin into computer for giggles...

Just got back to my hotel room. Went to the big mall for supper at a piano bar! Was defiantly NOT my type of crowd (yuppies all of 'em) but only place I could get a table. Food was very nice and beers were good also. Off to bed soon and sleeping in tomorrow !

TB I had that shot 6 times I think
like most Dr visits the paperwork is the biggest pain
they sit you in a nice recliner take all your vitals
then put you face down on a gurney give you a local
take xrays usually the doctor , the anesthesiologist and a nurse all hovering over your behind :biggrin_2554:

monitoring all your vitals then away you go

for me it usually took a couple days to kick in
one day it hurt next morning I was making coffee realized I wasn't limping

you have a ride home right?
they wont let you drive yourself home

Teddy_bear sent me pm. She took the shot yesterday... the pain is not as intense as it was... she was very sleepy last night and asked me to let folks know that she is doing ok and the shot didn't really hurt... :biggrin_25512: All the best to Teddy_bear. :biggrin_25519:

Got all the paperwork filled out, went back and got all the vitals, met with the doc, did a few "tests" of the reflexes, etc. They took me into the procedure room, got me arse up on the table, cleaned the area, gave me the shot to numb me, then the doc, nurse and 2 radiology gals went to work. I was on the table maybe 10 minutes or so, they got me up, took me to the recovery chair, put an ice pack on the area, checked my vitals a couple more times, had me walk about a bit to see if I was feeling okay, and we left.

Kenny went with me, but I did all the driving. In fact, they said if I needed to go to work I was fine to go, but I took the whole day, not knowing how I would feel. I got home and fell asleep about 1400 and got out of bed this morning at 0800. I think between those times I might have been awake an hour total.

I thought I was doing fairly good this morning until Kenny decided to go through some boxes and he goes 90 to nothing in everything he does, and by the time we were done, I was in tears. Now he feels bad, and I'm sitting back trying to take it easy. You'll have to forgive me for taking so long to reply; I've been working on this since about 0830 this morning.

Lilbit and Nik were coming through today, and I wanted so badly to meet them, but I just didn't think I was up to it. She said they'll be back through soon, so maybe I can get to meet them then. Knowing she's been through so much for so long with her back gives me hope.

I've got to send Kenny to Wal Mart later today or tomorrow to pick up a couple scripts and some bath soap for me.

I haven't decided yet how I'm feeling. All the pains are still there, but they don't feel as sharp as they did before. It's more of a dull ache everywhere. My lower leg is still numb, and other than the stuff I did this morning, I've taken it pretty easy. They said it will take 24-48 hours to really get an idea of how it's going to work, so I'm just trying to be patient and positive. I'm feeling kinda zoned out now, and the fur babies are taking turns sleeping in the chair with me. I think I'm kinda rambling here, so I'm going to probably snooze for a while.

I saw where Miss Patty should be home by now, is she doing okay? Any idea how long it will be before you get home and can see her? Let her know she's in my thoughts and prayers, as are you. I hope you're doing okay with being away and worrying about her. ~Hugs~

Pete, I got your message. Call me when you know when you'll be through. I'll start scouting pie restaurants.

TruckerDawg is such a handsome little fella. You can tell from his pics he's well cared for and happy.

My kids are all excited. Daddy uncovered the box all their toys were in and he threw them out all over the floor. They've been keeping busy with all the stuff they haven't seen for a while.
