Well Rocks its all about ur sence of adventure Besides I cut my teeth runnin up here so ain't no biggie&pays kinda nice to--Course having been ta everyone o these bout 1/2 million times makes it easier as well--and with the things u like to eat u might even like it round these parts--something different on every corner besides u never have to worry bout pkg--there's a bus stop on every corner also--bloody well convenient ifn ya ask me......
And Pete u don't hafta count ta 12--wiseold man once told me "u only have 1 drop--the NEXT ONE cuz till ya get that off--rest of em don't really matter now do they?"
Oh in Bklyn--bout 3blocks offs BQE--on Ft Hamilton pkwy--waitin on this fruit stand ta open!

Got the truck back yesterday. They replaced the bearings, which still didn't bring the oil pressure up to specs, but keeps it between 20 and 40. So I ran back to the yard, fueled, loaded rock and took those to Great Bend. Then back to Lyons, loaded salt, which I'll deliver this morning around 7 at Yates Center, which is a whopping 45 miles.

 

I will be doing a 10 in Hutchinson Wednesday night if your in the area Eaton

LMAO--cobblestones on a snowy night--kinda miss Fulton Mkt--they tell me its all hi dollar yuppified now--
But 4 a real treat bout 1500 bushels of Napa Cabbage to 15/20 restaurants in NYC Chinatown--Pull up on Canal Street--Check w/Mao@ the corner and watch bout 50 crazy Chinamen show up w/big wooden handtrux--each taken 5/6 bushels and scream off down the alleys bout hundred mph! Wagon mt less n hour--then Mao comes back w/ur bills&envelope w/CASH 4 the freight charges!

 

7:30 am and I am still the only one (and that includes employees) at the receiver. Rather odd after the usual frenetic pace and jockeying for doors that I am used to.

 

Headed to Lima, OH to grab a load for Pineville, LA.

 

Sitting at Wallyworld in Alliance, waiting for parts to get made in Mansfield.
