Where Are You....continues........

In a motel near our Marietta terminal. Was told that "maybe Tuesday we can get it in the shop". So, instead of going home next weekend, I'm renting a car in the morning and driving home until the truck is ready. The motel is on Crete's dime....the car is on me.

These newer trucks are just crappy when it comes to important driver comforts. Very discouraged today.....

 

You are soooooo nice to your girlfriend, taking care of the garden, doing laundry, cooking nice, tasty food for her... it reminds me a little of my ex-husband... how sweet...

 

After delivering the load this morning, ran 125 miles and now parked at a Walmart store in NC with no load and no trailer.... Will have to call WM DC tomorrow to know if they need me to do store loads so I don't sit for the weekend here... but if they don't need me, I will sit here...

Kokomo IN, behind the WallyWorld store. They have "we hate trucker" signs out in the front parking lot. Hopin' that parkin' my heiny in the back of the bus keeps the flatfeet lookin' the other way tonight.

 

First time I was ever in Kokomo, We got up about 0 dark thirty, drove over to middle of OH to pick up a load, then back to Kokomo. Got back there about 1900, where the hubby and best friend picked me up from my friends truck. Left there, stopped for some supper, and I drove all the way back to St Joe. Finally got home around 0600 or something like that the next morning. I was one tired, beat bear. Been to Kokomo a few times since then.
