I have become a skateboarder.

Supposed to be on my way to NC but I swung by the office last night on the way to dinner and beverages because this drop dead gorgeous girl wanted to see me (yeah, I don't get it either). Her office is right by the dispatchers so I popped in to say hi and a few minutes later, one of them yells for me that he needs a HUGE favor.

The company's got 3 curtainsides, 2 for the road and one for storage. Turns out one of our new drivers didn't think those numbers on the trailers were very important so hooks up to the storage trailer and hauls it 600 miles with nothing strapped down. So, I had to bring down the right trailer and take the wrong one (which is marginally road worthy) back to Fargo, after I figure out how to get everything strapped down.

Got kicked out of Walmart in Kokomo IN. Do they kick the RVer's off of their lot? NO! Truckers??? We hate truckers!!!

So I'm at Galagher's Travel Plaza in Peru... no, not THE Peru. Peru IN.

Don't ever intend to go back to Kokomo... deliver in Kokomo... spend money in Kokomo. Truckerdawg sez they ain't worth crappin' on either!

 

Ironpony.... be glad you got a place to park at the plaza this late... Some Walmarts will not allow even Walmart drivers to break at their yards...

I know... I know... good being o/o isn't it?

 

There is a club near by this mall. I could hear the music as if there were a band playing on the street. Now it's almost 2 am here and I guess there will be some crazies running around on their bikes, cruising, making some noise... after all, it's Friday night... I will have my late night bowl of fruits with yogurt and honey and go to bed... not sleepy though...

 

Singapore garlic noodles here. Not sleepy yet either. Watched "Killing Them Softly" - James Gandolfini really looked in bad health in it. Finishing up "Ronin." If that doesn't do it, I'll read some. The sandman lives in books!
