Had some pasta with broccoli and carrots and potatoes that I cooked yesterday. Still very good. Will buy some more fresh fruits tomorrow at this Walmart here. They do allow trucks here... but not many spaces though... Not familiar with those movies... I am not a movie type of person. Have some OOIDA magazines (LandLine)here... when I want to sleep I start reading them and that puts me to sleep rather quickly...:yes2557:

I got home rather reasonable for a Friday night. Rolled in here at 20:35. Was gonna get on here and byatch about dispatcher. So I'll do it now.

They probably did not know it would be ready yesterday. He sends a dispatch right at 17:00 saying pu this morning at SDV and deliver to Atlas Air by noon sharp.... Please.

I sent You are telling me to drive 50 miles for 130# airport transfer? You can't find someone else to do it? DEAFENING silence. Then I said why isn't it ready now? More SILENCE!
So I asked the SDV dudes about the pu number and they said we have it.
I said I don't care if it hairlips the dispatcher or they fire me over it. GET IT ON THE TRUCK!
They did and I delivered it.

I guess we'll see Monday if it twisted any knickers!

Home. Rented a car from Marietta for the 240-mile drive. Have to call the shop on Tuesday to check on the status of my unit, but they're so backed up it's questionable as to if it will even get into the shop by then. Really didn't need this many days off, especially with the expense of renting a car home and then back again.
