That is the $64,000 question. I REALLY need to win PCH or a Lotto so
I can get it towed to a REAL transmission shop!

A couple weeks ago it was great... over 4000 miles, long runs... But this past week and now this one have been kinda "crappy" :biggrin_2552: And today was a tiresome day... A lot of rush to do what I needed within the time I had available... a lot of traffic congestion... on top of that, pick up address was wrong... Anyway, was reloaded in PA, took it to my co. warehouse also in PA and then had to move trailers around... :biggrin_25510: Unhook one, hook to another, move it, unhook, hook to the other, move it, unhook again... :biggrin_2552: Not very fun at the end of a tiresome day... :biggrin_25512: With 28 mins left from my 70, I decided to stay right here...

at co. warehouse in PA. After all this unhook/hook/unhook... bobtail to nearest market for some groceries and bag of ice.
I am supposed to deliver a loaded trailer here to a customer about 8 miles from here... :biggrin_2552: Will call and ask if it can be delivered tomorrow... Otherwise will have no place to park this trailer... :biggrin_25510: Folks here need this dock available... this is a very tiny yard... customer doesn't have parking space either... and there's nothing between here and them... Closest place is a Shell about 5 miles further away from customer and they charge $ 5.00 for overnight parking... :biggrin_2552: And I am not paying for parking anywhere...

    Going to bed now...

I thought my last 2 weeks were kinda "crappy" but after verifying my notes and calculations, I saw that I have been running about 3,400 miles a week... Although it doesn't feel like...
Anyway, more yard jockey job today, hooking, unhooking, hooking again... moving trailers around the tiny warehouse docking area... And now I am parked without trailer at a supermarket parking lot so I can buy some more fruits and more bags of ice... and use the restroom without having to ring the door bell...
But gotta go back to warehouse this afternoon...
Tried to reschedule my delivery for today but... nope... gotta be tomorrow at 6 am eastern time... Ok then... After delivery about 8 miles from here, will come back to warehouse, more drop and hook and moving trailers around and will head to an "event" in CT... Event happens on Thursday morning... will get truck and trailer washed and if folks authorize, will park there overnight... :yes2557:

Look on the bright side Rocks! If you've been dropping and hooking all day, you've already had your cardiovascular exercise for the day!:biggrin_25523: You using your road tractor to do all that, or do they have a yard dog you are using?

    Rocks Thanks this.

Jeez. What a slow day. And while the truck ran great this morning after the heat of the day gets up it starts acting bad again.
Did a 406# pallet of rope from 7218 Clinton Dr. to 17512 Market St.
And 2 cartons 43# from SDV to Panalpina.
Now fixin to do paperwork and finish the logbook and head home presuming the truck will get me there. ...

Hey Mr. BD... no... I am not complaining... :biggrin_25512: Yesterday it was tiresome to do all that drop and hook at the end of a tiresome day but today I was rested and the exercise... yes... :biggrin_25519: No problem for me... I am an active type of person.... :yes2557:
I used my own truck... My co. warehouses don't have anything. :biggrin_25512: So, sometimes they ask us drivers to move trailers around and the co. pays us $ 10.00 for each trailer moved... but considering all the hooking and unhooking to move just one trailer, I think it should pay more... But again... I am not complaining... :biggrin_25512: I combine the "goods" with the "bads" and move on... :biggrin_25519:

I spent most of my day at a supermarket parking lot... Now I am back at the warehouse. Will leave early in the morning to deliver this load and then back here to move a couple more trailers and head to CT for the event.

The truck got the heebee jeebees once other twice on the way home but got me here.
It was running so good this morning I did not go all the way to the shop today.
But it is my second stop after getting gas on the way.
Now for some stew and cornbread.

Got my cardio work out today. :45 minutes on the treadmill, :05 on the elliptical (that things a killer), :30 on upper body, then I was given the option of more upper body or core. Silly me, I chose core. :30 minutes later I was beat. Who would think working the core would be harder that all the other combined. On the plus side, my trainer told me I was working like a rock star. She's such a positive person, and I look forward to every workout with her. I'm definitely seeing a change in my body. I'm seeing muscle where I never dreamed I had it.

Rocks, I hope for your sake it was as hot where you are as it was here. Last time I looked the temp was 99* and the heat index was 114*. And y'all wonder why I detest heat.
