I was at that dock for 3 hrs this morning.... but nice dsp will pay me for the extra hr... :yes2557:
Did one drop and hook at co. warehouse in PA which involved doing a blind side in that small docking area to turn trailer around, then dropping it in a corner, unhooking, then hooking to another trailer and pulling it out of its spot, dropping it in the middle of a yard filled with cars, then, hooking to the first trailer and putting it on the empty spot, unhooking and then hooking to the second trailer that I had dropped in the yard... That made me sweat a little...
Then, rushed from PA to CT and got truck and trailer washed at Blue Beacon... and then took a wonderful refreshing and clean shower... washed some clothes... in the sink... and now parked at this huge, empty parking lot, behind another truck from my co., waiting for the delivery event tomorrow morning.

After event tomorrow and all media pictures taken, will head to next shipper in VA... and hopefully they will have a place for me to park overnight.

Prostar trucks are looked down upon by many drivers. Plastic and all.
But the one I had was nice to drive. And about an order of magnitude better than the Century I got out of!

And now back to your regularly scheduled program. I'm roughly 8 miles south of the two truck stops in Goodrich and about 18 miles north of the hook.

i put the curse on the driver who got my load westbound ahead of me
when i was in the yard 24 hours ahead of him
i left this morning and he was still there with some engine code
He had me over for dinner last night but I didn't release the spell :biggrin_25523:

a few hundred miles ahead of him should suffice

I'm in Pearland at Solv Chem where it wasn't ready and I have a bad pick up number.
I dropped my morning stuff and could have been knocked over with a feather when my 10am cut off to Air France was ready at 8:45!

Went back to SDV after dropping to get a 185# pallet for World Trade Houston and a 180# pallet for British Air. Dropped British. Went to World Trade. Dropped that. Ate lunch.
And here I wait. The truck died. So it's windows open and sweating.

I knew that I HATE northeast but had forgotten how much... Today my memory was refreshed... :biggrin_2552: I TOTALLY, ABSOLUTELY HATE that I-95 in the northeast! Specially in CT and NY... :biggrin_2552: And also that I-495 in MD and that freaking I-66 from MD to VA...
If I were living in those areas, I would move out of there... and no money in the world would be enough for me to drive in those areas constantly... :biggrin_25512:
Didn't stay long at the delivery event this morning... Had another load to pick up... :yes2557: So, rep released me as soon as they finished unloading my trailer and I took off at 8:30 am central time... The other co. truck stayed there for the media pictures...
Drove less than 500 miles in almost 10 hrs today... :biggrin_2552: The traffic from CT to VA is INSANE! :biggrin_2552:

But here I am... no pictures cause got here at dark... I am at a big empty and totally dark parking lot at this old warehouse that looks abandoned... but there will be folks here tomorrow... I am in VA in the middle of nowhere... even internet signal is pretty bad... it comes and goes... Will have my dinner and go to bed...:biggrin_25518:
