Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody. And will be asleep certainly by 9:30

 

No traffic jam... nice to "see" you again around here...

 

Where has Ironpony been?

 

He got a vacation until August. His ice broke.

 

Will post a la Dave... Here it goes:

Was loaded at 7 am yesterday, as soon as loader arrived. Ran to my co. warehouse in TN, dropped loaded trailer, rushed to small Pilot nearby for a shower and a veggie pizza... cleaned windows and then back to warehouse for a very quiet night... Nobody there... parked at the very end...
Woke up today at 4:30 am, hooked to empty trailer and ran to my "hometime" truck parking location. Arrived at truck parking location at 8 am central time. Got my vehicle jump started... the poor thing was covered with spider webs... under the hood... tires... everywhere...



...and found a hornet nest being built next to the fuel tank opening (where we insert the nozzle)...
Did paperwork, moved a lot of stuff into my vehicle and at 11:30 am I left that location. Stopped at Pilot to drop the UPS envelope, then stopped at post office to get 3 months of mail... and then checked in my regular hotel at 2 pm... after putting all the stuff in the room...



... ran to Walmart for some more groceries and to my storage nearby to get my printer, my other cooking pot and a few other things and paperwork, etc... and then back at the hotel room...



At 6 pm I had "practically" everything set and started cooking something to eat... I was starving...

Man... I will be glad when this "hometime" ends and I go back on the road and rest...

Tomorrow will try to have some fun and relax some... if my "friend" returns my call, I may try to visit them tomorrow... and in the evening will go to the movies and watch "America"... that has been on my list for a month now...

 

I don't know... but these hotel rooms are sooo... cold... When I got in, the a/c was on and I was freezing... so I turned it off... and after a while, it was still cold... So, I turned the heater on... 75F and still not warm enough... So, I put it on 80F... and now it feels good in here...

 

Sunday morning. Trying not to hear Meet the Press on TV.
My Dad has politics on almost all the time. Therefore I do not spend a lot of time in the living room.

Ain't life swell.....


By the way. I listen to Michael Berry and Rush to get my political "fix"
but the constant bickering of the liberals drives me batty.

 

I like Mark Levin... But can't get his show every time, everywhere...

 

listening to politics is just listening to liars lie
and the talking heads that talk about the liars are even worse
