I rolled in just after 20:00 after stopping for oil and filter change stuff on the way home.
Nine delivery tickets today for a total of almost three "pre-sheets" I fill out.
At about 17:00 I get a call. "Do you want to work tomorrow?" So I asked what he had. A small (I guess it means pick up truck) picking up at SDV and delivering at Air France. A load which would pay about 7 bucks. I said "You do realize I drive 50 miles one way?" He said "I guess that means no"

What a brain surgeon he is!

Tomorrow I gonna change my oil and filters!

BTW... I did not have to go across town for the 34# box. I DID have to go almost over there for a pallet at 494# however.

 

Other than walking around the area here for over 1 hr this morning for some errands, I stayed the rest of the day in my hotel room. My vehicle is not ready yet. Probably Monday... these walls are so thin... earlier today I heard one of my next door neighbor crying and crying... sounded so close as if she were in my bathroom... Then, folks gathered next to my front door and chatted and smoked for hrs... I guess they could hear me talking on the phone here... A few minutes ago I was hearing this moaning... ohh... ohh... uhh... I though it was coming from outside... but then I realized it was my other next door neighbor probably having intercourse with her guy... there are only two doors on the wall separating us. I am glad it didn't last too long and it's all silent for now...

 

Taking my 10 in Aurora, deliver in Gresham before sunrise, then up to Chehalis for a load of wood going to Newark.....CA not NJ.....bummer.....I have a strange desire for a long East Coast trip....ain't going to happen......(quoting Pete>>)...*sigh*

was bemoaning my fate with a load from paw paw only going 631 miles until Monday morning
when another transam driver pulled in with a load to not deliver until 54 hours from when he arrived
