You know it's pretty difficult to squeeze blood out of a stone...
It's pretty hard to squeeze cash out of the company too.
I will start towards the office at 07:00.
    We'll see what happens. ...

So. On the way into town Greg calls and says two SDV going to Cargolux and Panalplna.
Ready at 9. So I'm sitting at the truck stop and at 8:35 he calls and says remember the Hazmat from Murphy? I said yes it was all fudged up.
He said it's fixed so go get it. It still looked wrong to me. But I loaded it.
And went to SDV for those two. Finally got out of SDV at 10:15.
I'm almost to Airfrieght Row. And he calls and asks if I've left SDV.
So anyhow do the great circle route back to SDV. Didn't leave until the 11am cutoff was but a memory. She told me don't worry about it.
Before all that was dropped he called and told me about 4 more.
I looked at where the gas gauge had gotten to.
And ran to the office. Got my truck out and my stuff back into it.
He said you'll never make all these. I said take that laughable 4pm cutoff from SDV off and I got it.

And I started with 3/4 tank. And still have better than half. And made three pickups starting near BW8 and 290 and ending at FMC Hardy. And hit SDV at 4:45.
Eddy was there with a truck full. I asked him about the 4pm one. And he said they couldn't find it.

Anyhow no more calls or texts.

So got home about 6:40. Spaghetti. TV. Certainly asleep in another hour and a smidgen.
