Where Are You....continues........

I waited 1 & 1/2 hours at ### Galvanizing but I got it.
Ran to Sumner. Dropped. Picked up 2 bins and a carton at roughly 150#
Went to Houston Heat Treat. Dropped. Got a 400# basket.
Went to MW Industry and got a 200# pallet.
Went to Sumner. Dropped.
Ran to Willis TX for an 1108# pallet.
Got to SDV at 10 minutes to Closing. Signed a paper so SDV could get their freight flown.
Dropped.
Roland had called at some point and said I thought you were going to get your truck.
I said I will get it in the morning. He said I'll give you a run to Custom Chemical.
I said I only have $50 and my check did not cash. He said he'd see what he could find out and let me know.

if I can get to the office without getting more gas I can easily do the run.
But I'd sure rather have my check cashed!

 

oh. And ding ding the witch is dead.

You crack me up Cranky... this was the last thing I would have thought... I had my hair tied in a bun and a head band...

 

What a day this of yours Dave... I got lost with all your running here and there... and the check still not cashed?? Are you saying Greg quit... his job??

 

I am at the parking lot of a supermarket in NC... me and another co. driver. We will deliver tomorrow morning at an "event" that will happen right here in front of the supermarket.
We got authorization from the supermarket to park here... And this evening, a neighbor came to us to say that we had to leave, otherwise the cops would chase us away... Cause trucks used to park here and then drug dealers and pimps and prostitutes would come too... Ohhh... that's nice... putting us in that same category... as drug dealers and pimps and prostitutes...
We told him we were here for a special "event" and that we have authorization from the supermarket... but he insisted we had to leave... blah, blah, blah...
So, we talked again with person in charge of the event and with supermarket manager, who told us to just move to another location of the parking lot and don't worry about...

Why you ask.....because the DOT is nice enuff to ask me NOT to drive 4 moren 8hrs...w/out gettin a DD Coffee& look there's one right over there......

Got the ride all spiffied up at the streaking beacon, n' headed to Jersey fer a little batch of hazmat going to Florida as soon as the gubbermint thinks I've loafed around enough...

Yes Rocks Greg has moved along! My check has not yet cashed.
I could drive between Sumner and Houston Heat Treat asleep. I've worn grooves in the road.
