HAHA... I think that would make some mess in the truck... which I prefer not to... I have other "tools" here to get rid of undesired flies... But the screen has been working pretty well so far... :yes2557:

Did my power walk this afternoon.... from this truck stop to TA across the street and back... Nice breeze... About 2 hrs ago TA had plenty of parking spaces...

But I find my spot here much much better... :biggrin_25519:

Will leave at 5 am.... Deliver on Wed near Los Angeles. After that, will head to south of Sacramento for reload and then, back to near Los Angeles... Everything planned out... :yes2557: Called receiver and set my delivery appt, called next shipper and set my p/up appt. Hopefully there will be no delays... shall see...

Hey BD, I am definitely keeping you in mind if I know that will be in your area... :biggrin_25519:

Not sure why but I had a 7 delivery ticket day.
First from the office near Almeda Genoa Rd and I-45 to just off I-45 North on Airline Dr
Picked up a pallet with two Belts on it (big wide belts) and took them to United Salt on FM1405 in Baytown. Then I called the nice lady at the bank. She said hurry. I was there within 15 minutes. And she said you're too late. But I'm going to cash it anyway.
    What a NICE Lady!!!

Then to General Work Products for two pallets. A 461# going to Womble a pipe yard near Jacinto Port and an 1,199# going to Gas & Supply off Fairmont Powys. in La Porte.

Then he says because they didn't call in all three at the same time (and he would have sent a stake bed truck) I went back to General Work Products for a VERY TALL pallet 1,434# going not too far but it scared the daylights out of me when I hit bumps.

Then knowing I had a 5pm cutoff at SDV I boogied to Absolute USA for an 80" by narrow 129# pallet going to SDV. Had three pieces going to Accelerated and the one 19# carton going to United. Got to United at 10 minutes until 5 and they took it and said nothing about missed cutoff so I don't care anymore.

Then the three pieces to Accelerated (which were to be trucked to JFK in NYC to fly on some airline.

Then did paperwork and got home 7:15

And will be in bed momentarily.

SB, just north of Cedar City? Haven't been up there in a year or so, and it looks like there's more to the west of the interstate than there was last time I was up there.

#1 was 2 big ugly pallets from Supply Pro to Total Service Supply on one of the most beat up roads in a city FULL of them!!!
#2 was 10ctn 284# from Astec Carbides to SDV.
Currently under a tree outside SDV.

    Oh freaking jolly.
Now another driver and I are at Palmer Warehouse. In theory I am to take two pallets and he one. It's a blind shipment and dispatch barely knows anything about it.

But it's 12 drums total and 6 on either truck is pushing overload.
